What Is a Dietitian?
Registered Dietitians are trained in the assessment, prevention and treatment of nutrition and nutrition related conditions. They use their expertise to help you make appropriate and healthy food choices so that you can work towards improving your daily nutrition. Healthy eating can help prevent future health problems and improve symptoms of some chronic diseases.

To see the Dietician you will need a referral from your Family Physician or Nurse Practitioner. Appointments can be made at both the Tri Area Medical Centre and the Marmora Medical Clinic.
