Women’s Health Program
The goal of the Women’s Health Program is to provide female adolescent and adult Central Hastings Family Health Team patients with treatment and intervention-based therapy aimed at improving their health outcomes.
Our designated NP will support the patient in identifying and treating a variety of women’s health conditions such as menopause and vulva issues, menorrhagia/dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia and unplanned pregnancy. The NP will also provide the following services: contraception (including IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal), endometrial sampling, and pessaries.
This program will not provide routine Pap tests or basic STI Testing.
